a great way of finding really random images is by using people’s lazyness: when pictures get uploaded, folks tend to forget to rename the image (like myself), creating a heap of images that all wear the standard Flash-memory name, being dsc0001, or dscf0001 or dsc1001 etc…
it also provides a good view on what is happening in digital-photography land and the internet: what kind of stuff do people share?

a nice design exercise:

remodeling a 70’s design classic: a raymond loewy hair dryer. From 2d redrawing to 3d modeling in wood.
great thing about such an exercise is learning how to analyze lines, curves and planes, together with the challenge to convert a drawing to a 3d model without compromising…

Since recently, I’ve started a project concerning CCTV cameras and the possibility to use it for other than security reasons. Think of open content, ’stealing’ the footage of CCTV and turning it into something more fun and less big brother. The most remarking thing about cctv is that it is everywhere, and in the most strange places. What is this camera doing here, and who is watching?
