A music-to-drawing machine
In this short project (2 days), the goals was to create a (semi) autonomous object. A machine was created that uses one sensory input to produce another. In this case, microphone input is translated into a visual output.
Materials used: lego, max/msp, microphones, phidgets.

Expose - a derive product
In this bachelor graduation project, I focused theoretically on how we can use new technologies to influence our relation with public space. In the upcoming markets of mobile navigation, can I design an alternative (maybe subjective) route guide that can shift our perception slightly? The object created is a subjective route guide/ robot, that asks things of the passer-by.
Materials used: wood, LCD, Arduino, GPS, Bluetooth.
The report can be found here.
A long movie can be seen here.

Explorations for interactive cctv
In this project, exploration were done in how the notion of cameras in public space change our view on this space. In comparing virtual and physical spaces, what can we learn? Why do we acccept them and do we really feel safer? Who owns these images, and who watches them? A set of research installations were made in order to create concepts for alternative uses of CCTV.
Materials used: webcams, sensors, Processing.
