Workshops

Within several different disciplines I have had the opportunity to host workshops. The topics differ from rapid prototyping to software training to teaching/ inspiration.

Fablab

These workshops were held at the PICNIC junior festival 2007 and at Pakhuis de Zwijger in cooperation with Studio Sophisti for the Waag Society.

Amongst activities were explanation of the Fablab principle, hosting brainstorm session and assisting/ advising in how to create an idea into to 2d, and ultimately 3d objects.

Code vs. Glitch
Film - and new media festival @ Bilkent University in Ankara.

For the annual film festival, together with colleagues of the New Media master course at the UvA, were asked to host 2 series of workshops, one hour each, in which we had the chance to explain and show devevlopments and trends in the field of new media and the moving image.

My particular part concerned the use of different techniques to create visuals/ animations with the use of digital media, like Machinima, Korsakow and Processing.

Workshop experience Mediamatic

At the PostCS building, several workshops, like RFID, Machinima and AnyMedia Documentary were given. During a period of 4 months, I was involved in organizing and hosting workshops on topics mentioned above. A report can be found here
